The taste of the pasta itself was amazing. I had tomato sauce because I like plain sauces, but I'm sure all the varieties were delicious.

Walked in here early one evening for dinner. The two young men working here were very welcoming and friendly, service was great. We were in the mood for pasta. I had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, my wife opted for the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe. I enjoyed two glasses of a white wine with my dish, I forget the name but I think it was Sicilian. The Carbonara was delicious, the Guanciale was so crispy and flavoursome, the Spaghetti was al dente, and the sauce was silky smooth. We ordered a Tiramisù al Mascarpone e Cacao and a Salame di Cioccolato for dessert. Both were so rich and indulgent. I enjoyed my evening here, and the bill was very reasonable too.

Cozy and welcoming café near the Forum Romanum. We enjoyed refreshing water and Coke Zero, delicious Roman-style meatballs, and tasty bruschetta. A perfect spot to relax after exploring the ruins.

One of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Rome. The service is absolutely amazing. We sat outdoors for lunch and it was so peaceful and lovely, but the inside is beautifully decorated too. The antipasti were delicious and as for the primo piatto, I ordered the cacio e pepe pasta and it was by far the creamiest, most delicate version of it that I’ve ever had. I only wish I had saved some space for dessert ! This was 5/5 stars for sure.

Vigna Roma is a hidden gem that beautifully blends relaxed charm with exceptional quality — a place that feels both welcoming and special from the moment you step inside. Tucked away from the busiest streets, it’s the kind of spot where locals gather, and visitors instantly feel at home. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between casual and refined. It’s comfortable enough for a casual lunch or coffee, yet stylish and thoughtful enough for a memorable dinner. The outdoor seating, when available, adds a lovely touch — especially on warm evenings when you can enjoy good food and conversation under the sky. Speaking of the food, Vigna Roma delivers beautifully. Each dish is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and balanced flavors that respect tradition while still feeling modern. The food was good. I liked the cod, it was unlike anything I’ve ever had. Very interesting texture. However, it was quite heavy, it is best to share it. The staff were amazing, very friendly and professional. The atmosphere was nice, it was slightly raining and it was enjoyable to stay under the umbrella. It was quiet and relaxing.
